And back to pastels we go, along with a nice splash of sunny yellow to brighten things up. Two different shades of ruffled pink gladiolus from the variety pack that keeps on giving, 3 ‘Diana’s Memory’ dahlia, 1 ‘Sunlady’ dahlia, 1 unnamed creamsicle bedding dahlia, ‘Cantaloupe’ calendula mix, that one apricot ranunculus, and a yellow freesia because I couldn’t resist. The pitcher’s spout makes a perfect little nook for a tall glad stem to rest, which was a welcome change from my spending five minutes trying to prop it up any way that it would hold.

Meanwhile, the vase of second week leftovers (everything that survived from last week’s kitchen table bouquet and thus got moved to the hallway table) has held up remarkably well, with all those moody dark hues.

Ranunculus, Calendula AND Gladiolas plus dahlias at this time of the year – oh my!
Oh how lovely….glads and dahlias! Love these.
Gosh, the moody vase from last week still looks gorgeous – or could it be even more so?! And this week’s is so fresh – more like spring fresh than summer fresh somehow, with those pastel colours
I really like the moody arrangement! And the other one is beautiful, too. 🙂
